Turning Femi's Pain into Progress

Grace & Manner supports a man whose leg was broken in an accident between a bike and a truck.

When we first met Mr. Femi, his story was one of pain, despair, and survival against all odds. He had been in a devastating accident—a collision between the motorcycle he was riding and a truck. The accident left his left leg badly broken, robbing him of the ability to walk.

Without the resources to seek proper medical treatment, Mr. Femi had turned to native doctors. But despite their efforts, his leg showed no signs of improvement. The constant pain and immobility left him physically and emotionally shattered, with little hope for a better future.

A Lifeline of Support

This is where Grace & Manna stepped in. Guided by our mission to care for our neighbours as ourselves (Luke 10:27), we knew we couldn’t turn away from Mr. Femi’s suffering. With your support, we took action to ensure he received the professional medical care he desperately needed.

The Road to Recovery

Mr. Femi was sponsored for treatment at the prestigious National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos, where he underwent proper medical evaluation and care. The process wasn’t easy, but through the hands of skilled doctors and with the support of Grace & Manna, Mr. Femi’s life took a miraculous turn.

A New Chapter Begins

Today, Mr. Femi can walk again! The joy of being able to move on his own two feet after months of immobility is beyond words. Reflecting on his journey, he said:"It was a very tough period. Grace & Manna relieved me of my pain and gave me an opportunity to walk again. I really appreciate them".
